Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom died yesterday. I am wrecked as if I knew this man intimately, and I don’t know exactly why. And I’m hurting deeply for Lauren. And the kids. But almost slightly more for Lauren and their Love. I want to unpack that later. I can’t stop thinking about these people who are supposed to be strangers to me. Somehow, they aren’t at all.
One thing about this man’s death is that, his energy has been amplified infinitely. He will live forever the way men of valor do. But we will really, really miss you Nip. Rest in Glorious Peace.
